The 1993 are very rare now too.   1990 are getting there...

Of course the rarest are the 1992 & 94.    Photo of 1992 PF 69 very rare 5 pc set  $28,000.
At some point we may not see the 92 & 94 come up for sale as they will be in strong hands.   I don't see a price drop.

All it will take is a article on the proof gold pandas from China expert, US expert, Peter or others to kick this proof market up.....

NGC total pop for small Proof gold pandas...
          1/20                                 1/10
1986    329                                   342
1987    373                                   388
1987      29                                       5   missing mint mark
1988    247                                   245
1989    232                                   247
1990    280                                   256
1991    180                                   191
1992    120                                   118
1993    187                                   193
1994    114                                   113

(I was told most PCGS have been crossed over to NGC)

Due to high prices the 1992 & 94 probably have most graded.   Yes?  No?

The most undervalued are the 1993 & 91 and still affordable.   Is there a glut of these in OMP?  Probably not?

1990, 1989 & 1988 are grouped together even w/ different plan mint.  90-5,000 plan, 89-8,000 & 88-8,000.
Many are probably ungraded...

1986 & 87 have 10,000 plan mint but even w/ high pop numbers when the proof's demand takes off there is not enough supply for demand.    However, many are ungraded due to low price.....

What are you paying? It would be a pain to dig them out of storage. I imagine I have ms69s graded by NGC. I have all of the smaller sized pandas.

I told my friends to buy small gold pandas w/ low NGC numbers comparable to the rare 1992 & 94 Proofs Pandas.

             1/20           1/10
1992P     120             118
1994P     114             113

The 1992 BU 1/20 w/ Large Date has   126      photo
The 1993 Fu Lu Shou  1/10         has    120

1982 - 2019 1/10?? 38 pc  OMP gold panda set  -start bid $45,000-   Ebay 203234642599
$45,000 divided by 38 = about $1,200 each.      Seems high to me....

Many ebay sales now.    High priced rare gold & high priced rare silver Chinese plus all the others are selling daily.
Many BIN sales are now high priced, some more than others....

Even a very low value, boxy design tourist medal wants $13,579.49 + $27.15 ship  ?????     This happens when the market is in a upswing....

True that, market is going up along with currency appreciation of Yuan. I hope it does not get over hot, as hi inflated prices usually pop in a bubble.

So I have always been told to be careful buying in a hot market.  So is the market hot or just in an upswing?  Curious what you dealers think and are you buying, holding or selling?

Yes its always best to avoid paying over hyped prices.  But sometimes its difficult to know what state of the market we are in, low or high.

Photo of 1991 G5Y PF 69 1/20 Proof Gold Panda SOLD about $300 by RCC.       Have not seen a 90 or 93 1/20 PF 69 on ebay in about 6 months.      (Can't remember when a 92 or 94 was listed.)     About 1 yr to 1 1/2 yrs ago these 90, 91 & 93 PF 69 were about $100.     Looks like the 1990's 1/20 Proofs are in strong hands or waiting for higher prices...
