USD is projected to drop 20% from current levels over next few years. That would gaurantee higher bullion prices. In fact, bullion prices will front run falling dollar and will stablize while dollar targets catch up.

From the pictures I have seen it was crowded, very few were wearing masks.  No COVID in china, it is now only a US problem.  Prices for key coins still strong.  Prices for bullion down since gold is down $100 from a month ago.

I read somewhere that the Bank of America raised it’s 18 month target price for gold to $3000 in April this year. I don’t know what metrics they used but it seems that most predictions are ebullient in favor of gold, at least in the medium term. As a collector who is not interested in selling in the short term I always wonder what my trigger points are for acquisition of bullion versus numismatics.

The auction format might be an efficient pricing method as long as no one is shill bidding. At 24,811 total mintage the 2000 1/4oz as a whole should be more amenable to price movements?

Here is a interesting comparison of 1/4 MS gold pandas.....

1994 G25Y MS 69 SD gold panda BU   $1,275 SOLD bids      Ebay seller Schrc2012

Panda book SD 1,800 surv pop
NGC 180 total.    MS 70 - 2, MS 69 - 138
(This seller has 2 93 MS 69 LD 1/4 bids listed on ebay too.)

1993 G25Y MS 69 LD gold panda BU    $688      Ebay 223198771913

Panda book LD 1,700 surv pop
NGC 193 total    MS 70 - 48,  MS 69 - 137

Similar numbers & pop but big difference in price.   Is this because the 94 Proof is rare so the BU get more price?....

What is left on ebay for small gold pandas?   My parameters...
1982 to 1999
MS 69    (no PF 69 listed)
Price of $200 or less...

Ebay has
2  1992   w/  8,500 surv pop for both LD & SD
1  1997 LD   w/  5,300 surv pop
That is it for 1990's
The rest are much higher surv pop 1980's.....
