China lunar medal set,  17.3g silver  (verified weight),  Shanghai mint.   See pictures below.

Does anybody know when this was made?   Also two of the medals have "F" mintmarks, see the rat below.

Could it be part of a 12 pc set?     F mint mark??           Ebay 401575156681  $250   plate or real silver? and no F mint mark.

Ebay 142908077667  brass  -start bid $19.99-    Seller Ggoodluck    maybe same as your silver set?     I did contact Ggoodluck about your set.     I have a few singles in brass similar to your set but do not recall the mint mark.....

Ebay 401575156681  $250  :   I believe this is silver plated.   Also weight is 14g.    The silver seem to be 17.3g weight.

Somebody typed up the "COA" which seems similar to the pagoda medal set "COA".....

The set I have is then 1982 to 1987.    Why it starts in 1982 is odd....

A senior Chinese collector with access to Shanghai Mint staff (a co-sponsor of the Classic Garden series) once explained that initially, "F" (foreign) was used on medals for export, similar to "D" for the domestic market. But later on it was overused. There are some questions about this claim, though.

I tested each of the medals:  999 fine silver.      17.3g weight.

The F mark means Foreign or export on this link.    I thought it meant Fiddlesticks....
