I have a 1988 Brass Panda.... Now what?
« on: July 08, 2015, 04:13:30 PM »

The 1988 Hong Kong Expo Official Brass Panda showed up in my store, and I was able to buy it.  I sent it off to NGC and just got it back;
PF 68 Ultra Cameo.  Not the Holy Grail, but pretty close in my book.  I'm going to sell it but I don't want to put it on eBay and give them
$500.  I'd rather let the buyer save the eBay fees.

Is eBay the best place to sell a coin like this?
What would you do if you had it?
I see them listed online for 5-6k but I'm not interested in holding out for that kind of money.
What is it worth? $4000??

If this brass medal is "attractive", I would be comfortable purchasing it at $500.  Really!  I do not know the actual mintage, I do not know the surviving mintage, I do not know the condition of the surviving mintage and I do not know if the dies used to strike these brass medals are still residing in the display cases at the Shanghai Mint.

Well, forum members, what do you think about this.
