There is a PF 69 Gilt on ebay for $299.     OMP $99.     I was told the gilt was common as there is silver & brass too.
NGC has about 55 Gilt graded pop.       Your 70 top pop is outstanding...

Ebay has a brass OMP $600.   China seller...

Photo of a PF 69 Silver top pop was on ebay for $400.
NGC has about 68 graded pop.     5,033 Plan Mint Mr. Ge.   Rare to see on ebay...

Again there are collectors, mostly in China/Asia, that collect Lu Xun medals if priced right.   Feng Yunming has Lu Xun as do other artists.   I was told they expect big demand for his medals in the future as he is held in high regard.     Confucius is also admired and i see demand for his too.....

May as well answer questions here.    This 81 PF 69 Lu Xun once had a higher selling price so it makes sense many would have been graded but NGC pop is low...

A few years ago, the 81 Lu Xun silver OMP box/coa sold in Asia for about $650.      A PF 69 should have been priced at about $800 plus.    This silver has been overlooked but demand should return soon....

Silverseek  "Don't forget the silver users".....     Ted says demand could explode overnight...

My recollection was a dealer in China had it for around $450-$500 USD last year. But the exchange rate was more favorable to USD then and no eBay or PayPal fees there. Lu Xun is a cool story teller. The dealer let me photograph it so I was happy.

Best wishes,

Sent to me from a dealer, the silver Lu Xun is cheaper in China, see photo of several.    The PF 69's sold for about $375 & $385 USD in China and 1 sold in US for $400 recently....

The above Lu Xun for $628 Japan seller, ebay says sold.  That was quick....

A gilt brass?  Silver?  Lu Xun, no hard cap, box   $388 + $10 ship was listed and sold in hours.....

Oops, forgot this....  Boxes for the silver Lu Xun can be found on occasion, the COA's are very rare.

The PF 70 Gilt Brass that was posted first on this topic by jwa1inv, must be very rare.    I keep looking at it, wish it was mine.     Gilt brass were common, i picked up a PF 65 years ago for about $25....
